Stressbusters

Two MU students put childhood fun back into exercise at the National Love Your Body Day events on a cool, rainy October day.

Senior nursing student Mallory Trosper, left, gives MU student Mary Wetz a seasonal flu shot during the Center's outreach flu clinic at the Memorial Union in early October.

H1N1 Vaccine Clinics being held on campus

Feb. 2-3

Keep yourself virus free by getting your FREE H1N1 shot on Feb. 2 or 3 in Bingham Room 127 (Hatch-Schurz connector) from 5:30 - 8 pm. Your MU student i.d. is required.

If these dates don't fit your schedule, call for an appointment or receive your vaccine at another scheduled appointment -- (573) 882-7481.

H1N1 Vaccine Clinics successful

The Student Health Center administered more than 650 H1N1 vaccines at its flu clinics before the holiday break. The Center has received another allocation from the state and students are encouraged to make an appointment to receive their free shot.

“We expect to see influenza all through the winter months,” says Dr. Susan Even, Student Health Center director.  “We hope as many students as possible will seek this protection before they head home for the holidays."

The H1N1 waiting list is currently being suspended due to vaccine availability. Call for an appointment and get your shot before going home for winter break.
