MU's Student Health Center is accredited by the Accreditation
Association for Ambulatory Health Care, Inc. (AAAHC). Only organizations that have met nationally
recognized standards for quality health care, as described by AAAHC, are eligible for accreditation.
In order to receive this recognition, the Student Health Center underwent an extensive on-site survey
of its facilities and services. The survey team, composed of physicians and health care administrators,
evaluated all aspects of patient care before honoring SHC with accreditation. The renewal process
