Women’s Health and Contraceptive Options

The Women’s Health and Contraceptive Options web-based class is designed to help you learn more about the methods of birth control available to you and other important issues in women’s health. The web-class covers the effectiveness, instructions for use, advantages and disadvantages of methods including condoms, oral contraceptives (the pill), the patch, diaphragms, emergency contraception and more. It also discusses how to do a self-breast exam and what “women’s health exam” entails for women who are having their first gynecologic exam. You’ll be more informed when you walk into your providers office after viewing this class.
