New & Prospective Students

Getting ready for college, and in many cases moving to campus and away from home for the first time, can be a very exciting time. Of course the purpose is to take advantage of the educational opportunities that will position you for life-long learning. The Student Health Center is focused on helping you with this goal.

Many times students and parents are so excited about the prospects of beginning college, they forget about the possibility of getting sick and how to prevent illness and injury. The information in "Healthy Transitions" will help you remember to pack those items that are commonly found in your home medicine cabinet and first aid kit. In addition, it provides helpful information about how the Student Health Center can help you stay focused on your academics rather than on illness. Take a look and then take advantage of your Student Health Fee by visiting the Health Center for our medical clinic, health promotion, and health prevention services!

Click Healthy Transitions to learn what students and parents have told us was important to them in their transition to campus life.
