What you need to know about the Student Health Center

Now that you are at Mizzou you are making your own decisions. When it comes to health care, we offer everything your home town health care center did in many of the same ways:

• Shots (immunizations)
• Physicals
• Acute illesses or injury
• Chronic medical issues
• Annual women's health exams
• Wellness and preventive care
• Seeing the same provider during your time here at Mizzou

Now that you are at Mizzou, we respect your individuality and privacy in many ways:

• Helping you set up your own appointments when you call (573) 882-7481
• Unless you request it, we don't share your visit information with anyone
  • including your financial statement — it just says "student health charge"
• Helping you file your insurance claim

In some ways we're completely different:

• Our providers are specialists in college health and gender issues
• We have medical, mental health and wellness under one roof
• And, again, unless you request it we don't share your visit information with anyone
