Student Health Advisory Council
The Student Health Advisory Council (SHAC) is a student organization that promotes the quality and delivery of the Student Health Center for the students on the University of Missouri campus.
SHAC serves as a liaison among the Student Health Center, Mizzou students, student government and organizations.
Sexual Health Advocate Peer Education
SHAPE is a peer education program consisting of extensively-trained peer educators who lead sexual health programming and advocacy events using a variety of fun, interactive methods in a safe, nonjudgmental format.
Stressbusters
Stressbusters is an incredibly fun community wellness program. It continuously trains and dispatches volunteer teams of undergrad and grad students to provide FREE five-minute backrubs and health information to other students at campus events, residence halls, organization meetings, libraries and wherever else the stressed gather.
Health Center Volunteers
Volunteers are Mizzou students who apply to contribute to the Health Center in many different ways. They gain skills and become more comfortable with patient interactions while learning about the health care industry in a hands-on way.
BREATHE
BREATHE's, Breathing and Relaxation Experiential Activities to Help Everyone, purpose is to provide Mizzou students with an opportunity to learn and experience mind/body practices for stress-management and relaxation.
