Heather Eastman-Mueller
Dr. Heather Eastman-Mueller graduated from the University of Missouri with a doctorate in Health Promotion and Wellness with a Minor in College Teaching.
She currently serves as the Curriculum Coordinator of the Sexual Health Advocate Peer Education (SHAPE) program and is an adjunct faculty member of the WGST Department teaching a general education course entitled, “Sexual Health Advocacy and Service Learning, WGST 2960.” In addition to being in charge of the SHAPE program she also serves as a researcher for the Student Health Center investigating general college health issues, assessment and evaluation, and sexual health knowledge, attitudes, and behaviors.

Jessica Scott
Jessica is a Missouri native and a second Ph.D. candidate in Human Development and Family studies with a background in psychology. Her research interests include high-risk sexual behaviors in adolescents and emerging adults, unintended pregnancy and its resolution, and both religious and cultural influences on individuals’ decisions about their sexual behaviors. She is currently the outreach graduate assistant for the SHAPE program.

Ellen Chancey
A sophomore Anthropology major from Kansas City, Ellen became a SHAPE peer to learn more about peer education and how it relates to public health. She believes giving students all the information and resources allows them to make their own decisions about sexual health safely and confidently without pressuring them. Taking the experience she has from SHAPE she would like to go on to graduate school for public health.

Emily Luft
A freshman from St. Louis, Emily is currently double majoring in Women’s & Gender Studies and Sociology. She works at the MU Women’s Center and is interested in the way that positive messages about sexuality and feminism intertwine. She has a special interest in Women’s Health and Health Policy, and hopes to help make her SHAPE peers and fellow students more informed about the laws that affect their bodies. She believes that education is power and is very excited to be a SHAPE peer!

Kayla Williams
Kayla is a sophomore business major with an emphasis in human resources management. Kayla is a member of the Business Ambassadors, STARS Ambassadors and, of course, a SHAPE Peer. She enjoys being active and playing club volleyball for Mizzou. |

Jessica Heslin
Jessica is a junior Sociology major. Her interests in SHAPE include relationships and STI (sexually transmitted infection) prevention. She is interning at the St. Louis ARC this summer working with developmentally disabled people and working on fundraising for the organization. |

Seth McIntire
Seth is a senior, double majoring in biochemistry and biology with a minor in chemistry. He joined SHAPE because of his belief in peer education and the persuit for HIV prevention and counceling on campus. Reminicsing on what SHAPE has done for Mizzou, Seth undoubtely believes students have a improved comprehension of how to be sexually healthy and able to differentiate between a healthy and unhealthy relationship via a intrinsic motivation opposed to extrinsic factors. |

Ashley Turner
A senior in Textile and Apparel Management emphasis in Apparel Marketing and Merchandising, Ashley believes SHAPE is a strong resource for students. She wants students to feel they aren't alone or lost in this stage of their lives.
In addition to educating students on healthier ways to live life as well as enjoy college in a sexually responsible way, she also participates in Big Brothers/Big Sisters organization.

Allison Boyd
Allison is interested in spreading healthy habits to her peers at Mizzou using the SHAPE values. She believes the SHAPE program impacts students lives by discussing the importance of safe sex.
"During SHAPE presentations," says the Health Sciences-Physical Therapy major, "the students usually ask a lot of questions which makes me think that they are interested and that we are making an impact."
Allison is also interested in GLBTQ issues and relationships as well as enjoying time with family and friends, watching and playing sports, music and movies.

Aron Broomhall
Aron joined SHAPE to put his knowledge of sexual health to use and to gain experience for his future career goals in the field of psychology. He sees SHAPE opening eyes and providing students with the tools and information needed to maintain a sexually healthy lifestyle and make better decisions.
Aron is also involved with Trail To A Cure, World AIDS Day, Missouri AIDS Awareness Coalition. In addition to his college workload he also makes time for running, being outdoors (camping, boating, swimming, hiking, etc.), reading and dancing.
