Graduating in 2011 with a psychology degree, Kaylee became a volunteer to give back.

“This is a great way for me to learn about the health care field and give back to the Mizzou community,” she said

As a pre-nursing student who expects to graduate in 2012, Brittanye Daniels loves helping people and knows volunteering will be a great learning experience.

“I think working as a SHC volunteer will aid me in my future endeavors as a pediatric nurse,” she said.

A dual biology and Spanish major, Kassie expects to graduate in May 2012. Kassie became a SHC volunteer because she wanted to learn how the health care system worked as a whole.

“I also want to gain experience and insight about working in the health field,” she said.

With graduation just around the corner (Dec. 2010), the health sciences major was looking for a way to become more involved in the health profession as well as gain some volunteer experience.

“I hope to gain a better idea of which health care health care field I would like to be a part of after graduation,” Julianna said.

In pursuit of obtaining her doctorate of physical therapy in 2013, Anna wanted to find a way to help people in a health care setting.

“I wanted the opportunity to learn more about health care,” she said, “and I knew volunteering at the SHC would be a rewarding experience.”

As a biochemistry major, Chris is looking to gain experience in the pharmacy field.

“I want to understand the position and learn what being a pharmacist entails,” Chris said.

The 2012 graduate also volunteered with the SHC to help others and offer his time to those that need it.
