Meet the 2007-08 SHC Volunteers

	Ashley Anne Briggs Graduating: 2010 Major: Biology/Pre-Med I wanted to be a volunteer at the Student Health Center because I wanted to get the feel of how a hospital operates. I wanted to be exposed to different areas of medicine.		Elizabeth Kerr Graduating: 2010 Major: Biology I want to become a physician assistant. I want to volunteer because I want to learn more about the healthcare field and how a clinic works. I want to learn more about the various roles and just gain knowledge and experience.
	Kathleen Heermann Graduating: 2010 Major: Physical Therapy I am looking for experience in a health professions setting. I hope to one day work in a rehabilitation center that puts this experience to use.		Sara Wirth Graduating: 2009 Major: Chemistry, Pre-Med I'm here to help and to learn more about health care because I want to be a doctor and I can gain experience in patient care.
	Amanda Blake Graduating: 2009 Major: Pharmacology Since I am planning on pursuing pharmacy as a career, I am really looking forward to my experience volunteering in the Student Health Center Pharmacy.		Amy Griffith Graduating: 2010 Major: Biology I am excited to be a SHC volunteer because it will give me a lot of experience in the health care field. I plan on going to medical school and as a volunteer I hope to learn more about other fields and what I may want to specialize in.
	David Kram Graduating: 2010 Major: Business, Biological Sciences I am looking forward to gaining firsthand experience in a health care setting while being a SHC volunteer. As a pre-med student here at Mizzou, I hope to learn a lot about medicine and everything that goes on behind-the-scenes at the Student Health Center.		Kelsey Landes Graduating: 2010 Major: Nursing I've never had the chance to volunteer before, and I wanted to do it in a health care setting. This opportunity will give me plenty of experience and also the chance to communicate, network and meet potential references. Overall, I'm just excited about the entire experience.
	Lindsay Helper Graduating: May 2008 Major: I have always wanted to have a career in medicine and being a volunteer allows me to get acquainted with medical procedures and a hospital atmosphere. I enjoy helping people and being a part of Mizzou’s Student Health Center team!		Sarah Brockman Graduating: May 2008 Major: I have always wanted to be a part of a health care team and this is why I am interested in a career in medicine. I enjoy helping patients receive quality care.
	Elizabeth Kellett Graduating: 2010 Major: Nursing By working as a volunteer at the health center, I hope to gain a better sens of our health system and patient care.
